11 November 2018
Friday 30th November, 7pm. Yes, this is the date you've been waiting for and the social event of the festive period: our Christmas get together! This year it's taking place at the Edge Cafe at 351 Mill Road, Cambridge. It will be a great opportunity to meet up, explore what next, network and hear about what we are already doing in our local communities, as well as having a bit of fun.
This year we have a talk from one of our members Oli on what it's like to be a Parish council member and some of the projects he's been involved with in his local community. Food will be in the form of a bring a share, and if you do bring something along to share with others please could you label it with the contents and ingredients.
Also, in the spirit of the time of year and our green credentials we'd will be having a Sustainable Christmas Prezzie Share. We've all got those gifts in the back of the cupboard that never see the light of day or those good as new toys that the kids are too old to play with anymore. So why not bring them along to donate to the share a prezzie table, another persons unwanted gifts are another's stocking fillers. You never know you might find that perfect gift yourself. If not taken by the end of the evening, gifts can be taken back or popped into the box at the end of the evening to be taken to a charity shop.
There is plenty of parking for bikes and cars and it's also on a number of bus routes. The event is free. We will finish at 10pm.
See you there!
