Picnic at Wandlebury Country Park 18th August

13 August 2019

Roll up, roll up, fellow members of our party it's that time of year to get come together and get to meet each other in our summer social. This year, weather permitting, we will be coming together at Wandlebury Country Park for a picnic on the 18th August at 13:00.

Wandlebury Ring, Gog Magog Hills, Cambridge CB22 3AE

The picnic will be held in the picnic field (downloadable map available here) and we will attach a hi Vis jacket with the green party logo to a camp chair so you can find us. Wandlebury park can be reached by bike, bus, on foot or by car. Parking is £3 for all day and there are toilet facilities.

Please bring yourselves, food, something to sit on and any family members, friends or dogs you would like. If bringing a dog please keep on a lead as we have to be mindful of the park's wildlife and those that aren't so keen on our four legged friends.

We are all obviously aware of climate change and what effect it is having on our already changeable weather. With this in mind there may be a chance we could get rained off. We will be keeping an eye on the weather and if this is to be the case we will let you know on the Friday before the event.

Hopefully we'll be lucky and it'll be a glorious day in which we can all meet fellow members, enjoy some food and drink in a wonderful outside space.
